About Dr. Rhonda Pettigrew

The Ministry

Dr. Rhonda Pettigrew, an author and prolific preacher, is an influential voice within the church, leadership, and corporate platforms.  She is a revolutionary thinker with the ability to cross cultural and socioeconomic lines bringing empowerment to people from all walks of life.

Dr. Pettigrew has penned seven books in the areas of leadership and Christian living, including her best seller, Seasons and Reasons.

Dr. Pettigrew attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and received her honorary doctorate in May of 2020 from Yale University.  She also has certification in Pastoral Leadership.

Dr. Pettigrew and her husband, Apostle Danny Pettigrew, planted Destiny Church International in January 2011 and has planted two additional locations over the past two years.  Their latest launch is Soar, a network and covering for churches, ministers, marketplace leaders, and creatives providing training, resources, empowerment, and community.

The Influencer

The influence of Dr. Pettigrew is reshaping the paradigm of women in ministry through her effectiveness in the church, marketplace, and media.  She is the Executive Director of the non-profit community development center, All Things Family, Inc., providing education, empowerment, and enjoyment to establish healthy relationships and stronger family units.  All Things Family has made marriage and family the focus by teaching in the areas of communication, marriage and relationships, leadership, finance, and mental health.

Dr. Pettigrew is a stakeholder in I-Care, a collaboration of leaders advocating for change in the Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee community.

Dr. Pettigrew continues to broaden her reach in media, as she has been a featured on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), The Word Network, The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), and TCT Network.

The Wife

It is the joy of Dr. Pettigrew’s life to be married to Apostle Danny Pettigrew for twenty-three years.  They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
